Best Microsoft Copilot training in Singapore: how to choose (2026)

This guide is published by Intellisoft. We run several of the courses recommended here. · Last updated 11 October 2026

Short answer: for most companies rolling out Microsoft 365 Copilot, a one-day, SkillsFuture-registered course on Copilot use cases across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams is the quickest way to get staff productive. Empower Your Workforce With Microsoft 365 Copilot Use Cases costs S$817.50 including GST, or S$292.50 with 70% funding. If your staff are still weak on Word, Excel and PowerPoint themselves, take the 3-day Microsoft 365 with Copilot course first. If you want to build custom agents, Copilot Studio is a separate, more technical skill, and those courses are not yet funded.

What to check before you book

  • Funding. SSG-funded (WSQ or SkillsFuture-registered) courses carry a course reference starting with TGS. Singapore Citizens aged 40+ and SME-sponsored staff get 70% off the course fee; other eligible Citizens and PRs get 50%. SkillsFuture Credit, SFEC and UTAP can cover more of the balance. Some newer Copilot courses are not yet funded, so check the TGS code before assuming a subsidy.
  • Licences. Microsoft 365 Copilot is a paid add-on to a Microsoft 365 plan, and Copilot Studio is licensed separately. Ask whether you will practise on the course’s accounts or your own tenant, and whether your own licences are needed.
  • Hands-on time. Look for courses where you run real prompts on real documents, spreadsheets and meetings, not a slide-based tour of features.
  • Data and governance. Copilot works on the files and chats each user can already access. Before rollout, your IT team should check SharePoint permissions and sharing settings. A good course explains this, but it is an IT task, not a classroom exercise.
  • Level. Using Copilot (a prompt-writing skill) and building agents or copilots (a configuration and design skill) are different courses. Pick the one that matches the job.
  • Laptop and class times. Some courses expect you to bring your own laptop; ask.
  • Trainer. Ask who teaches and how learners rate them.

Copilot Agents and Copilot Studio: not yet funded

Two further courses from Intellisoft Training Pte Ltd cover building rather than using Copilot. Neither has a SkillsFuture course reference yet, so funding is not yet available and the full fee applies. Neither has public dates scheduled yet — see the course finder or call +65 6252 5033.

Other ways to learn Copilot

  • Microsoft Learn (Microsoft’s own free learning paths): good for individual learners and for understanding Copilot’s features and admin settings. No trainer and no funding needed.
  • Udemy, Coursera and LinkedIn Learning: self-paced video courses from overseas instructors. Cheap or subscription-based, but not eligible for SSG course-fee funding in Singapore, they date quickly as Copilot changes, and there is no one to check your work.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Microsoft Copilot training in Singapore for companies?

For most companies, a one-day SkillsFuture-registered course on Microsoft 365 Copilot use cases is the best starting point. Empower Your Workforce With Microsoft 365 Copilot Use Cases (TGS-2026062460) covers Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams for S$817.50 including GST, or S$292.50 with 70% funding.

Is there SFEC-claimable Copilot training for companies?

SFEC can be used for company-sponsored training. The funded Copilot courses we run (TGS-2026062460 and TGS-2025052673) are SSG-registered. Call +65 6250 3575 to confirm your eligibility and to arrange a private in-house class for your team. The Copilot Agents and Copilot Studio courses are not yet funded.

How much does a Copilot course cost in Singapore after funding?

For the 1-day M365 Copilot use-cases course: S$292.50 with 70% funding, S$442.50 with 50% funding, or S$817.50 without funding (all including GST). For the 3-day Microsoft 365 with Copilot course: S$382.20, S$578.20 or S$1,068.20 respectively.

Is there a Copilot Studio course in Singapore?

Yes. Mastering Copilot Studio is a one-day course (8 hours) on building, testing and publishing custom copilots and agents. It is not yet funded, so the full fee of S$1,635 including GST applies. It suits IT staff and power users rather than beginners.

Do I need a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence to attend?

Microsoft 365 Copilot is a paid add-on, so check with the training provider how practice accounts are arranged before you book. Call +65 6250 3575 and ask.

Is the free Copilot enough, or do we need training?

Free Copilot chat is easy to try without training. The paid Microsoft 365 Copilot works inside your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams files, and that is where structured training pays off: knowing which tasks to hand to Copilot, how to prompt it, and how to check its output.

Copilot, ChatGPT or Gemini: which should my team learn?

If your company runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot is the natural fit because it works with your existing files and permissions. If staff use several assistants, the 2-day ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot course compares them side by side.
