Short answer: if you are not a programmer and want AI agents to take over repetitive work, a 2-day SkillsFuture/WSQ-funded course on no-code agentic automation is the best starting point: Create Agentic AI Automations Without Coding (16 hours, about S$390 after 70% funding). If you want to build working AI apps and agents with code assistants such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, take Build Agentic AI Apps with Claude Code & Codex (16 hours, about S$468 after 70% funding). If your company runs on Microsoft 365, Power Automate is the more practical route. If you only want to use ChatGPT or Copilot better, you do not need an agentic course yet.

Which kind of agentic AI course do you need?
“Agentic AI” means AI that does multi-step work for you (reads an email, decides, updates a sheet, asks for approval) instead of just answering a prompt. Courses differ mainly in how much coding they assume and which tools they use.
| Your situation | Best fit | Typical length |
|---|---|---|
| Non-programmer; want AI to automate repetitive work (triggers, AI steps, approvals) | No-code agentic AI automation course | 2 days |
| Analyst, power user or developer; want to build and ship AI apps and agents | Claude Code and Codex course | 2 days |
| Office staff on Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) | Power Automate course, or Power Apps & Power Automate if you also want to build business apps | 2 days |
| IT or power users building custom copilots for your organisation | Microsoft Copilot Studio or Microsoft 365 Copilot Agents (not yet funded) | 1 day |
| Just want to write, research and analyse faster with ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot | AI tools course, or free self-paced tutorials | 2 days or a few hours |
| Want to understand code before using AI to write it | Python fundamentals first, then an AI coding course | 2 days |

What to check before you book
- Funding. SSG-funded (WSQ or SkillsFuture-registered) courses carry a course reference starting with TGS. Singapore Citizens aged 40+ and SME-sponsored staff get 70% off the course fee; other eligible Citizens and PRs get 50%. SkillsFuture Credit, SFEC and UTAP can cover more of the balance. Some newer courses (including the two Microsoft Copilot courses below) are not funded yet, so check the course reference before you assume a subsidy.
- Which tools. Agentic AI changes quickly. Check which platforms the course uses (no-code builders, Power Platform, Claude Code, Codex, Copilot Studio) and whether your employer already licenses them. Power Automate and Copilot Studio need a Microsoft 365 tenant with the right licences.
- Coding level. “No code” and “builds apps with code assistants” are different courses. Check the stated level and audience, not just the title.
- Hands-on time. Look for courses where you build a working automation or app in class, not a lecture with demos.
- Guardrails. Good agentic training covers approvals, permissions and what happens when the AI is wrong, particularly if the agent touches customer or financial data.
- Laptop and class times. Ask whether you should bring your own laptop and what the daily schedule is.
- Trainer. Ask who teaches and how learners rate them.

Other ways to learn agentic AI
- Vendor documentation and free tutorials (Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft Learn): accurate and current, and enough if you are comfortable teaching yourself. No trainer, no feedback on your work.
- Udemy, Coursera and DeepLearning.AI: self-paced video courses from overseas instructors. Cheap or subscription-based, but not eligible for SSG course-fee funding in Singapore, and nobody checks your work or adapts examples to Singapore workplaces.
- Zapier, Make and n8n tutorials: free ways to try no-code automation before paying for a course. Useful for deciding whether the topic is worth your time.
